Theater District, in Manhattan
Circle in the Square Theatre
Broadway house · 235 W 50th St
Circle in the Square wraps U-shaped seating around a thrust stage, with every audience member within eight rows of the stage.
The company began in Greenwich Village in 1951 and moved to this Broadway home in 1972. Allen Sayles designed the theater, with lighting by Jules Fisher.
Entry to the orchestra is behind row K. Once inside that level, expect roughly two steps down per seating row.
