Dumbo, in Brooklyn
ComedySportz New York City
Comedy Club · 68-117 Jay St
New York's branch of the ComedySportz format, where improv teams compete using audience suggestions and a referee keeps the match moving.
ComedySportz is structured as short-form competitive improv rather than stand-up, with each performance built from material created on the spot.
The New York operation has used Brooklyn performance spaces, making the company and format more stable than any one building.
