Upper East Side, in Manhattan

Czech Center

Museum Cinema · 321 E 73rd St

The Czech Republic's cultural outpost in New York, inside Bohemian National Hall on East 73rd Street, with a 60-seat screening space and a Czech film program.

The center works out of Bohemian National Hall, and screenings are one strand of a calendar that also runs exhibitions, readings, conferences and workshops. Some film programs move outdoors in the warmer months.

What plays is mostly Czech, including recent features such as the 2025 drama Caravan, and a program often comes with a discussion attached. The audience is a mix of the Czech community here and people who follow the work.
