Greenwich Village, in Manhattan
Improvolution
Comedy Venue · 115 MacDougal St
A Greenwich Village improv school that also stages student and instructor performances, with character-based improv at the center of both.
Improvolution began in 2002 and now operates primarily from 115 MacDougal Street.
Its public shows include graduate performances and mixed-cast improv nights, so the stage functions as the performance side of a teaching operation.
