State Theatre New Jersey is a restored silent-film palace in New Brunswick, and central New Jersey's largest nonprofit arts presenter.

The building went up as a movie palace and was renovated into a touring house; the season runs from classical and dance to comedy and family shows.

It is in downtown New Brunswick, reachable by NJ Transit from Penn Station, which makes it a train trip rather than a drive.
