Ridgewood, in Queens
Stone Circle Theatre
Listening Space · Ridgewood Presbyterian Church, 59-14 70th Ave
A nonprofit all-ages performing arts venue inside a Ridgewood church, where the audience sits on a mix of chairs and pews and the stage comes with a backline.
The floor is open rather than fixed, so the layout changes with the event and capacity runs to about 250. A baby grand piano and an Allen organ installed in 2022 are both in the space.
Being a church building means the programming is not limited to concerts. The venue rents for private events, corporate use and film shoots, and it carries audio, video and lighting for whatever is booked.
