A movement space on West 37th Street that calls itself an incubator for working class and marginalized communities, with a calendar of classes, talks and films.
Workshops carry as much of the schedule as screenings do, including hands-on sessions like hand embroidery taught with an eye to the history of the craft.
It runs as a nonprofit and takes book donations and bequests. The stated aim is unity across historic lines of division at home and abroad, and the programming is built around that rather than around ticket sales.
