Radio City's Art Deco interior makes the walk to your seat part of the show, before the curtain or the band moves.
The hall opened in December 1932. Donald Deskey coordinated its interior, from furniture and carpets to murals, railings and decorative materials.
Concerts share the Midtown West theater with the Rockettes and larger stage productions. The scale is grand, but the details reward looking around before the performance begins.
