Boerum Hill, in Brooklyn

Roulette

Concert Hall · 509 Atlantic Avenue

Roulette gives experimental music a full concert setting, putting new compositions and improvisation at the center of its Boerum Hill program.

The organization has presented music, movement and media since 1978. Its Atlantic Avenue home accommodates work that crosses those forms, including film screenings and performances built around new scores.

Livestreams, radio programs and an extensive archive extend the work beyond the stage. In person, the attraction is hearing musicians develop ideas with an audience present.
