Maspeth, in Queens
Ruins at Knockdown Center
Outdoor Stage · 52-19 Flushing Ave
The Ruins puts Knockdown Center's music outdoors, with weathered concrete surrounding a Maspeth gathering place for dancing and live performance.
The courtyard belongs to the larger industrial arts complex but has its own seasonal program. Open-air concerts, Pride events and community parties have all used the space.
Bookings such as Tiki Disco make the audience and the dance floor central to the event. Check that the ticket specifies this outdoor area rather than the main hall.
