Forty-plus taps on the ground floor of the 3 Vinos building, with burgers, sandwiches and a short list of larger plates to go with them. Happy hour runs all day Wednesday and Thursday and from five to seven the rest of the week. Live music and karaoke take over on weekends, and the bar stays open past midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Wed and Thu, 5pm to 11pm. Fri, Sat and Sun, 3pm to midnight. Closed Monday and Tuesday
A pub on the same block as the theater with a rotating draft list and a kitchen that does a pastrami burger and fish and chips in portions people complain about finishing. The beer board changes often enough to be worth reading before you order. It is closed on Mondays, which is the one day the block loses it.
Tue, Wed and Sun, noon to 10pm. Thu, noon to 11pm. Fri and Sat, noon to midnight. Closed Monday
A Mexican grill a block up Citrus with both indoor tables and a patio, doing a full sit-down menu rather than counter service. Sunday is a short day here, 10am to 3pm and then done. It is closed all day Monday.
Tue to Thu, 11:30am to 9pm. Fri, 11:30am to 10:30pm. Sat, 11:30am to 9:30pm. Sun, 10am to 3pm. Closed Monday
A craft beer and spirits bar with several pool tables, screens for sport and a DJ on weekends, open on Citrus Avenue since March 2025. There is a full kitchen attached, so this is somewhere you can eat as well as drink. On Friday and Saturday it runs to two in the morning, which is later than anything else on the street.
Mon to Wed, 4pm to 11pm. Thu, 4pm to midnight. Fri, 3pm to 2am. Sat, noon to 2am. Sun, noon to 11pm
A coffee bar decorated around horror movies and skateboarding, with pinball and arcade cabinets in the back. Rusty and Jade Valore started the company in Upland in 2015 and opened this Citrus Avenue shop in the fall of 2020. Drip, pour-over and espresso are all here alongside the blended drinks named after horror characters that the place is known for, and it stays open until 10pm every night.
Daily, 6am to 10pm
A neighborhood sports bar directly across Citrus Avenue from the Covina Theater, with twenty-odd screens, a pool table, dart boards and six outdoor tables where dogs are welcome. Karaoke runs Tuesday and Thursday, an open mic lands on the first Wednesday of the month, and a DJ plays Friday and Saturday. It closes at 1:30 in the morning every night of the week, which makes it the last thing still pouring on the block.
Mon to Sat, 11am to 1:30am. Sun, 10am to 1:30am
A counter pizzeria on the theater's block where the whole idea is that you pick the toppings and they hand-toss it for you. The dough uses imported Italian flour and the cheese is Grande, which is a more serious sourcing decision than the build-your-own format suggests. There are salads, wings and craft beer alongside, and a patio out front if the inside is full.
Daily, 11am to 9pm
A secondhand and antiquarian bookstore four doors up from the theater, trading on Citrus Avenue since 1981 and now run by Brad and Jen Johnson under the Johnson Rare Books & Archives name. Roughly thirty thousand titles are shelved here, running from ordinary used paperbacks to genuinely rare material. It keeps short hours and is open only Thursday through Saturday, so the visit has to be planned around the shop rather than the show.
Thu and Fri, 11am to 6pm. Sat, 11am to 5pm. Closed Sunday to Wednesday
