George and Rena Panagopoulos opened this in 1958 in a building Eldon Davis and Helen Liu Fong designed, and it is one of the best-preserved Googie coffee shops left in Los Angeles. Boomerang roof and rock planters outside. Neon and a counter with swivel stools inside. Fried chicken, biscuits and eggs, served until three in the afternoon and not a minute later.
