The menu is three things: fish tacos, shrimp tacos, potato tacos. Corn tortillas are made on site and whoever takes your order fries the seafood behind the counter while you wait. You get the taco plain and then dress it yourself at a bar of cabbage, lime-soaked radish relish, chipotle crema and house salsas. A fish taco is $3.50, shrimp $4.25, potato $3.25.

Warner Ebbink and chef Brandon Boudet opened this in January 2008 in the old La Belle Epoque space on Hillhurst. Ebbink put in a 1930s wooden bar he bought off a saloon in Easton, Pennsylvania, and leaded-glass windows salvaged from a New York building that was coming down. Boudet is from New Orleans and it shows on the menu. Handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, brunch on the weekend.
