A wooden shack on Pico that has been serving since 1947, with twenty-six stools around a U-shaped counter and no tables at all. You wait standing behind whoever is eating, then take the stool when it opens. The hickory burger and the pie have both been on the menu since the first day, and the bill arrives handwritten.

Sunday to Thursday 11am to 11pm. Friday and Saturday 11am to midnight
