Shape The Day
Before
Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic GardenA hundred and twenty-seven acres on what was Lucky Baldwin's ranch, with his 1885 Queen Anne Cottage still standing by the lake and the descendants of the peacocks he imported from India walking the paths. More than two hundred of them live on the grounds and they are loud. The planting runs by continent, so you can cross from Australia to Madagascar in twenty minutes, and the whole loop takes about ninety.
