Dulan's Soul Food KitchenAdolf Dulan built his name on soul food across South Los Angeles, and this Manchester Boulevard location carries it on under his family. You read the steam table, point at what you want, and carry the tray to a table. Oxtails and smothered chicken bring people back. Peach cobbler does too. The restaurant fills up with Inglewood regulars rather than with arena traffic.

The Nile BarA two-floor bar on Market Street with screens on every wall and a kitchen. A DJ comes on later. It opens at three in the afternoon and serves until one most nights and two on a Friday, which in downtown Inglewood is unusual. It exists because of the stadiums up the road and it makes no secret of that.
