Best Fish Taco in EnsenadaThe menu is three things: fish tacos, shrimp tacos, potato tacos. Corn tortillas are made on site and whoever takes your order fries the seafood behind the counter while you wait. You get the taco plain and then dress it yourself at a bar of cabbage, lime-soaked radish relish, chipotle crema and house salsas. A fish taco is $3.50, shrimp $4.25, potato $3.25.

La PoubelleJacqueline Koster opened this on Franklin in 1969 with crepes and omelettes and Edith Piaf on the stereo, and her daughter Francoise runs the kitchen now. It is a full bistro with a long bar that keeps pouring after the kitchen shuts. The back patio is where people end up.
