Coni'SeafoodConnie Cossio's place on Imperial Highway does the Nayarit coast: pescado zarandeado, a whole butterflied snook grilled over wood, plus aguachile, smoked marlin tacos and shrimp. It is a low building with a patio and a bar, paper on the tables, and the fish comes out on a board for the table to pull apart. The zarandeado takes time, so order it when you sit down.

Randy's DonutsThe giant donut on the roof went up in 1953 and the stand under it has not changed shape since. You order at a walk-up window on the side of the building, there is no seating, and people eat standing next to their cars in the lot. It runs 24 hours a day, which is the whole reason to know about it in a part of Inglewood where almost nothing else does.
