Shape The Night
Before
Hammer MuseumUCLA's museum at Wilshire and Westwood, free to everyone with no ticket and no reservation. The courtyard at the center is open off the street and people sit in it without going into a gallery at all. Exhibitions turn over often enough that a second visit is not a repeat.

After
The Cinema BarCulver City's oldest bar, opened in 1947, and small enough that its own regulars call it the world's smallest honky-tonk. There is live country, roots and blues most nights with no cover. The stage is a corner of the floor.
