Barnsdall Art ParkA city park on the crest of Olive Hill with Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House at the top and a west lawn that looks across to Griffith Park and the hills. It is free to walk up and sit down. In summer the park runs Friday evenings on the lawn with wine and food trucks.

House of PiesA diner on Vermont serving since 1969, baking more than thirty pies a day and doing breakfast at any hour. Booths, a counter and a pie case by the door. It runs to 1am most nights and 2am on Friday and Saturday.
