Echo Park, in Central L.A.
The Echo
Rock Club · 1822 W Sunset Blvd
The Echo keeps touring bands at neighborhood-club scale on Sunset Boulevard, with local residencies woven into its history in Echo Park.
The operation began in 2001. Its free Monday residencies helped develop acts including Foster the People and the Airborne Toxic Event, making repeated appearances part of the draw.
At 350 capacity, this is the smaller venue in the Echo and Echoplex pairing. Its own calendar moves from guitar bands to hip-hop and the country-focused Grand Ole Echo series.
