A coffee shop on Lebanon Pike that opens at 6 AM and runs to 8 PM Monday through Saturday. Espresso, drip, pastries, and tables to sit at. Closed Sunday.

A Mexican kitchen on McGavock Pike, about a mile away. It starts serving at 7 AM on weekdays, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner all work here. It closes at 3 PM on Sunday.

Donelson's only craft brewery, open since March 2020, about ten minutes south of Music Valley. Beer brewed on site alongside pizzas that run to coconut curry chicken and shaved ribeye with truffle fries. Edgar Pendley, a co-owner of Urban Grub in 12South, is behind it.

Tennessee beer and comfort food next to the Donelson library, a couple of minutes off Old Lebanon Road. There is a covered patio. Open to midnight Thursday through Saturday, and closed Monday.

A Donelson deli and bar serving until two in the morning, about ten minutes south of Music Valley. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos and burgers from the kitchen, a full bar, and Bongo Java coffee if you want the other direction.
