A commercial gallery on Hagan Street showing contemporary painting, sculpture, and photography, with exhibitions that change roughly every six weeks. Admission is free and you can walk the whole space in fifteen minutes. Closed Sunday and Monday.

The largest inland stone fortification built during the American Civil War, on a hill south of the neighborhood. A half-mile blacktop path circles the fort, with about a quarter mile of boardwalk and twenty interpretive panels along the way. Leashed dogs are allowed and the grounds are free.

Doug Havron named it after his daughter Gabriella. Opened 2009 in the building that used to be Hap Townes. Grass-fed beef, house-baked buns, milkshakes made with house-made syrups. Lunch only, closing around 2:30pm. A lunch stop before heading out later.

A bar in a former welding shop on Houston Street, opened by brothers Jamie and Bryan Kenney. Cocktails and beer under high ceilings, with a patio out back. It runs to two most nights and three on Saturday.

Elmer 'Santa' Irwin built this karaoke bar inside a double-wide trailer on Bransford Ave and hung Christmas lights that never came down. He died in September 2025 at 75; his grandson Riley runs it now. Cash, beer only, and no cursing on the mic. Those were his rules and they still stand. Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves both sang here. Open Wed to Sun from 4pm.

An LGBTQ+ bar on Martin Street, open since 2005. Cheap drinks, a patio, and a crowd that spans the neighborhood. It runs to three in the morning every night.
