Interpol - North America Tour 2026
Saturday, October 17, 2026 · 8:00 PM · The Pinnacle, The Gulch
The Read
Turn On the Bright Lights arrived sounding like New York in one specific year, and the easy assumption was that the band would date along with it. They did not. Paul Banks’s deadpan, Daniel Kessler’s interlocking guitar figures, and a rhythm section that treats restraint as an instrument have kept working because the writing was always structural rather than atmospheric. DIIV open, which makes for a coherent bill: two bands who understand that guitars can be enormous without being aggressive. The Pinnacle is a big new downtown club with a PA that rewards this material’s low end. The lighting will carry much of the presentation while the band barely acknowledges the crowd. Interpol has always made distance feel like discipline.
