Sankofa African Drums & Dance Ensemble
Monday, November 9, 2026 · 7:30 PM · Blair School of Music, Centennial / West End
The Read
Sankofa treats rhythm as movement, history, and ensemble conversation rather than accompaniment. Blair's concert setting offers enough space to see the choreography and enough acoustic clarity to hear how the drum parts lock.
The Venue
Blair School of Music
2400 Blakemore Ave
Vanderbilt's music school, running near-daily faculty concerts, student recitals, and jazz and global ensembles that are mostly free and open to anyone.
