Coffee in East Village

An espresso counter on East 7th Street that has been going since 2007 and roasts what it pours. The olive oil cake comes out of the oven in the morning and goes fast. There is standing at the counter and not much seating behind it.

Mon to Thu, 8am to 8pm. Fri and Sat, 8am to 10pm. Sun, 9am to 6pm

Antonio Veniero opened this pasticceria on East 11th Street in September 1894 and the pastry case still runs the length of the front. Cannoli are filled to order and you can sit down with an espresso behind the counter. They stop seating half an hour before close.
