Shops in NoHo / Astor Place

A barbershop below Astor Place that has been cutting since 1947, with a floor of chairs and no appointment needed. A cut costs a fraction of what the surrounding blocks charge. It opens at seven in the morning.

Mon and Tue, 7am to 7pm. Wed to Fri, 7am to 9pm. Sat and Sun, 7am to 7pm

A shop and label on East 2nd Street dealing in experimental music, with tapes and books alongside the records. Village Preservation made it their Business of the Month in July 2026. They buy as well as sell, so the stock moves.
