It is a griddle, a row of stools and a short menu of eggs and sandwiches, with coffee poured into a mug rather than a cup with a lid. It opens at half past six in the morning every day of the week. Nothing about the place has been styled.

A bar on East 161st that opened in 1927, the same year as the original Stadium across the street, and has been feeding and watering the same crowd since. It is a long wood bar with televisions and photographs everywhere. The menu starts with wings and burgers. Sandwiches fill out the rest. On game days it is packed solid and there is a line on the sidewalk. On any other day you walk in and sit down.
