Meadowlands MuseumA volunteer-run regional history museum in the Kingsland House, a few streets off Route 17 in Rutherford. It keeps permanent displays on the Meadowlands alongside rotating and traveling exhibits, and admission is free with a donation box by the door. It is small, and it opens on most Saturdays only, from ten until four.

After
Bolero Snort BreweryA Carlstadt brewery with a bar attached, pouring its own beer and the Broad Street hard seltzers it makes alongside. It sits on a side street in the industrial grid rather than on a main street, so you are walking past loading bays to get there. It stays open to ten Thursday through Saturday, nine on Wednesday and eight at the start and end of the week.
