The Elevated AcreAn acre of lawn and planting sitting a level above Water Street, reached by an escalator tucked beside the entrance to an office tower. Almost nobody finds it who has not been told it is there. The east end looks out at the harbor and the Brooklyn Bridge, and it is legally required to stay open to the public.

Tables run down the middle of the street in warm weather and the bar keeps going until 4am every day of the year.
