Juliana's PizzaPatsy Grimaldi came out of retirement in 2012 and opened Juliana's in the Old Fulton Street space where he had run Grimaldi's for decades, naming it after his mother. Coal oven, whole pies only, no slices and no reservations. The kitchen shuts between 3:15 and 4 in the afternoon, and the line outside moves because the oven turns a pie in minutes.

Henry Street Ale HouseA dim pub on Henry Street with a long bar, a tin ceiling and a beer list that runs to a couple of dozen taps. There is a burger and a plate of wings if you want them, and the back has a few booths. It has been on this block for nearly thirty years and nothing about it is trying to be anything.
