PAC NYC can change the shape of its theaters around a production, letting the audience's relationship to the stage change with the work.
The Financial District performing arts center uses movable seating, platforms and partitions to create different configurations. Three performance spaces can support several scales of presentation.
The program includes theater, dance, music and opera. Two visits need not resemble each other, even when they happen inside the same building.
