Prospect Heights, in Brooklyn
Soapbox Gallery
Listening Space · 636 Dean Street
Soapbox Gallery brings live music into a small Prospect Heights art space designed around listening and conversation.
The gallery presents performance and visual art together, with an acoustic design intended to support the musicians. Its stated purpose connects the program to public discussion and contemporary social issues.
Concerts also reach listeners through livestreams and an online archive. The physical audience is small, giving a visit the scale of a gallery event rather than a conventional club show.
