Culture in NoHo Arts District

A regional branch of the Los Angeles Public Library a block off Lankershim, named for Amelia Earhart, who lived in North Hollywood before her last flight. It is a full regional branch rather than a small one, so there is a proper periodicals section, air conditioning and tables you can sit at for an hour without buying anything. Open Sunday afternoons, which very little else here is.

Mon to Thu, 10am to 8pm. Fri and Sat, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Sun, 1pm to 5pm
