Woody's Bar-B-QueWoody Phillips started this on Slauson in 1975 and opened the Market Street shop in 1995; his son Rodney runs it now. Meat comes off oak-fired brick pits onto steam tables and out over the counter, on a plate with links, beans and white bread. You order standing up and most people take it away.

In-N-Out BurgerStore number 166, on Century west of Crenshaw, with a drive-thru and seating inside. This is the one store that is a walk from all three Inglewood venues rather than one of them: SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater are seven-tenths of a mile in a straight line, Intuit Dome is six-tenths, the Kia Forum is just over a mile. It serves until 1am most nights and 1:30am on a Friday and Saturday.
