Woody's Bar-B-QueWoody Phillips started this on Slauson in 1975 and opened the Market Street shop in 1995; his son Rodney runs it now. Meat comes off oak-fired brick pits onto steam tables and out over the counter, on a plate with links, beans and white bread. You order standing up and most people take it away.

Three Weavers Brewing CompanyA working brewery on West Manchester with long tables in front of the tanks and a roll-up door onto the parking lot. It is a place you walk into and order a beer at the bar, with food trucks rather than a kitchen. Weekend closing runs to eleven, which is late by Inglewood standards.
