Frogtown, in Central L.A.
Zebulon
Music Club · 2478 Fletcher Dr
Zebulon separates a Frogtown cafe and patio from a concert stage, leaving space to talk before stepping into the music.
The Los Angeles incarnation opened in 2017 after the original Brooklyn venue closed. Its old wooden bar came west too, a substantial piece of the earlier space carried into the new one.
Most shows use a standing floor, with occasional seated programs. The 300-capacity venue on Fletcher Drive keeps the performance distinct from the front bar, so both parts can have their own pace.
