Grand Ole Opry: OPRY 100 with The Oak Ridge Boys, Bill Anderson, John Berry, and more

Saturday, October 31, 2026 · 7:00 PM · Grand Ole Opry House, Opryland

The Read

John Berry had a real radio run in the mid-'90s, with “Your Love Amazes Me” and “Standing on the Edge of Goodbye” both topping country charts, and he's spent the decades since quietly working the road and the gospel-Christmas circuit. The Opry membership keeps a singer like Berry in circulation after country radio has moved on. For listeners whose radio years lined up with his, the name never disappeared in the first place. More names land closer to showtime. Saturday is the marquee Opry slot, and Halloween has become a minor tradition there. Many people will come for the institution before the final lineup is known. The live WSM broadcast keeps the short sets moving around the six-foot oak circle.
