FEAR FEST! The Fly (1986)
Monday, October 12, 2026 · 7:00 PM · The Franklin Theatre, Franklin
The Read
Seth Brundle begins as a charming eccentric who thinks he has solved something enormous. The tragedy is watching him remain recognizably himself while his body proves otherwise. Jeff Goldblum gives the transformation enough vanity and fear to keep it human. Geena Davis has to watch the person she loves disappear by degrees. The gore gets remembered. The sadness is what sticks.
