A tea shop on the ground floor at Main and 37th, three minutes from Flushing Town Hall, where you can sit down and have leaves brewed for you properly rather than buying a cup to carry out. Oolong and puerh are what the counter steers people toward and the shelves behind are given over to pots and cups. They run tea classes for anyone who wants the longer version. It shuts at six, so this is daytime and early evening only.
Daily, 10:30am to 6pm
Tongs and a metal tray at the door, then you load up on single-serving buns and pay at the register. Roast pork, taro, red bean, salted egg yolk, plus egg tarts and slices of Swiss roll, most of it between two and four dollars. Coffee and milk tea come from the counter at the back and there are a few seats if you want to sit.
Daily, 7:30am to 7pm
