Eight acres in Barrett Park in West Brighton, opened in 1936 and best known for a rattlesnake collection that was considered the most complete in the country when it was assembled. It is small enough to do properly in ninety minutes, with an aquarium, a reptile wing and a children's farm. Adults are ten dollars and children six, and nothing about it requires booking.
