Bien CuitZachary Golper's bakery on lower Smith Street, open since 2011 and built around long-fermented sourdough and the dark bake the name refers to. The case holds croissants, kouign-amann and morning buns alongside the loaves, there is coffee at the counter and a handful of seats along the wall. It opens at 7am seven days, which is earlier than anything else near Roulette.

Egg creams, sundaes and a short savory menu, ordered at the counter or at the marble bar. All ages, all afternoon.
