LunÀtico is a Bedford-Stuyvesant bar built by working musicians, where dinner and cocktails make space for a live band.
Richard Julian, Arthur Kell and Rosita Késs founded it in 2014 after years of performing in other people's venues. The idea combined the food and drinks they liked with the music settings they missed.
The Halsey Street operation supports performers through audience donations. A small capacity keeps the scale close, and the kitchen gives a visit a purpose before the first set begins.
