Culture in Bedford-Stuyvesant

A theater inside Restoration Plaza that opened in May 1972 as part of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the first community development corporation in the country. It reopened after a renovation with music and dance added to the play schedule, and film alongside them. In summer the plaza outside runs free jazz and soul.
