A cheap neighborhood bar on Bedford Avenue that is open from noon until four in the morning every day of the week. It is run by the people behind Skinny Dennis and Lucky Dog in Williamsburg. Dogs are welcome and the drinks are priced accordingly.
Daily, noon to 4am
A mezcal-leaning bar on Fulton at Classon with a large backyard and a ping-pong table in it. DJs play records inside most weekends. It takes no reservations and the yard fills up early once the weather turns.

A natural wine bar five doors from Loudmouth on Marcus Garvey Boulevard, with a free pool table inside and a back garden under one big tree. There is a long communal table out there and a scatter of bistro tables. Jazz plays inside and food pop-ups turn up in the yard.

Walter Alston opened this as a pool hall in the early 1950s and his daughter Linda Greer runs it now. The jukebox plays seventies R&B, the Christmas lights and the birthday banner stay up all year, and a shot with a beer is five dollars. Thursday is snacky hour, when the wings and hot sausages are free.
Open daily into the early hours. The bar publishes no fixed schedule, so call before a very late arrival
