Drinks

A bar has operated in this 1887 corner building for most of the time since, and the Peter Doelger Brewing glass over the door is still there. The food is burgers and fish and chips at a price that has not chased the neighborhood. Closed Mondays, which catches people out.

Williamsburg
The Levee
Drinks

Twenty-odd years on the corner of Berry and North 3rd, pouring cheap beer and putting out bowls of Utz cheese balls for nothing. The kitchen does chili dogs and Frito pie. There is a pool table, a dartboard and a jukebox that has not been curated by anyone.

Daily, noon to 4am

Williamsburg
Turkey's Nest Tavern
Drinks

Family run since the 1980s on the corner opposite McCarren Park, with a pool table and cheap beer and the ball game on. It opens at 11am and does not close until 4am, every day of the week. Nothing about it has been updated to match what went up around it.

Daily, 11am to 4am
