Mott Haven, in The Bronx
Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture
Theater · 450 Grand Concourse
The Hostos Center is the Bronx arts hub of Hostos Community College, called the powerful locus of Latino art by the New York Times.
It is recognized nationally for Latino and African-based programming, and holds more than 20 performances a year across music, dance, theater, film and festivals.
Because it sits inside a CUNY campus, the audience is students, faculty and the surrounding neighborhood together rather than a ticket-buying public alone.
