East Williamsburg
Cooper Park
Outside

Six and a half acres on the site of Peter Cooper's glue works, which his descendants sold to the city in 1895. A 2012 rebuild put in turf, a concrete skate park and a quarter-mile jogging loop. The dog run sits in the southwest corner at Sharon Street and Morgan Avenue.

Open daily under the standard NYC Parks schedule of 6am to 1am.

East Williamsburg
Sternberg Park
Outside

Four acres between Montrose Avenue and Boerum Street, renamed in 1990 for Frances Hamburger Sternberg. A synthetic turf field takes up most of it, with handball and basketball courts alongside and a dog park at the southern end. The playground shuts at 9pm.

Park open daily. Playground hours are 6am to 9pm.
