Reopening on September 15, 2026 at 834 Seventh Avenue, the address that held the Stage Deli until 2012. Sarri Harper, whose grandfather Milton Parker bought Carnegie in 1976, is the third generation to run it. Around 110 seats, walk-in only, with the wood panelling and the Wall of Fame restored.
Daily 11am to 10pm
The front piano bar has no cover and the singing waitstaff work for tips. Broadway performers drop in after their own curtain and take a turn.
Daily, 5pm to 2am. Piano bar from about 9pm
A narrow bar off Times Square papered floor to ceiling with fight posters. Jimmy Glenn cornered Ali. The jukebox runs soul and the pours are heavy.
Daily, roughly noon to 4am
Brick walls hung with posters from shows that flopped. Cast and crew eat here after curtain and the burger never left the menu.
Daily, noon to midnight. Later on weekends
Infused vodkas by the carafe with a piano going late. Brodsky and Baryshnikov backed it in 1986 and the late crowd still skews people who just finished working.
Mon 4pm to midnight. Tue to Fri, 2pm to midnight. Sat and Sun, 2pm to 1am
The cart that started the New York halal platter, trading on this corner since 1990. Chicken or gyro over yellow rice, lettuce and pita, with the white sauce and a red sauce you should ask about before using. It opens at ten in the morning and is still going at four, so it covers a matinee and a late set equally well.
Daily, 10am to 4am. Until 5am on Friday and Saturday nights
Live piano most nights inside the Hotel Edison, with a rum list that goes deep. No cover to sit and listen.
Daily, noon to 2am. Music most nights from 9:30pm
